On the 9th of January 2015 the Tour d’ Afrique started in Cairo, Egypt. After crossing the African continent from north to south by bicycle and by doing so covering almost 12,000 km, it finished in Cape town, South Africa on 9 May 2015.
The Tour d’ Afrique has been recognised as the world’s longest and most challenging stage race.
Among the participants were Hans Versluis and the Spanish photographer Sergio de Arrola. Sergio de Arrola has visually documented the Tour d’ Afrique. His photo’s will be published in a book called ‘Rolling Habits Africa’. FP Management B.V. supports the publication of Sergio de Arrola’s book.
