From Cairo to Cape Town . . . by bike!

On 9 January 2015, the Tour d’Afrique started in Cairo, Egypt. After crossing the African continent from north to south by bike, covering nearly 12,000 km, it finished in Cape Town, South Africa, on 9 May 2015. The Tour d’Afrique is recognised as the world’s longest and most challenging stage race.

A visual documentation: a unique photo album

Among the participants were Hans Versluis and the Spanish photographer Sergio de Arrola. Sergio de Arrola visually documented the Tour d’Afrique. His photos will be published in a book called ‘Rolling Habits Africa’. FP Management BV is supporting the publication of Sergio de Arrola’s book.
